Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Engineer with ETL Testing exp to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL knowledge, hands-on experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. This role involves ensuring software quality through careful review of requirements, test planning, execution, and defect management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system requirements and functional specifications.
- Design, create, and execute test plans and test cases in accordance with defined standards.
- Perform manual and/or automated testing to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and participate in defect triage meetings.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, backend testing, and issue diagnosis.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members throughout the SDLC/STLC.
- Troubleshoot issues, verify bug fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Data Engineering
- Experience working in a BI team or data team
- Experience working with ETL’s
- Experience working on Data Migration projects
- Automation experience in data space,Denodo,Python,Salesforce,MongoDB,Snowflake,DBT and Airflow
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database validation and testing.
- Review and analyze system requirements and functional specifications.
- Solid understanding and experience with full SDLC/STLC
- Experience in troubleshooting issues, root cause analysis & defect triage.
- Create and execute test plans according to predefined standards.
- Experience with MSSQL Server
